Data3 offers two distinct account types: Customer and Node Provider.

Customer Account:

  • Description: Tailored for individuals or entities requiring database deployment management services.

  • Features:

    • Access to Data3 console for signing up and requesting database deployments.

    • Ability to submit deployment requests through the console.

    • Visibility into bids from node providers for deployment requests.

    • Communication with node providers and peers using designated mechanisms and protocols.

    • Capability to interact with deployed databases seamlessly.

  • Additional functionalities:

    • User experience for staking (by node providers) and payment for subscriptions.

Node Provider Account:

  • Description: Designed for entities offering computational resources for database deployment within the Data3.Network ecosystem.

  • Features:

    • Ability to bid for deployment requests via the Data3 console.

    • Visibility into bid acceptance and deployment details.

    • Communication with customers and peers using designated mechanisms and protocols.

  • Additional functionalities:

    • Provisioning of storage nodes for customer deployments.

    • Configuration and deployment processes managed through Docker containers.

    • Configuration of pricing models either through the Data3 Console or within their own applications.
